Historic Hotel Bethlehem is a century old Hotel which has been awarded the “Best historic Hotel: by USA Today’s.
10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards. It has achieved this feet for 2nd time. In 2019, Historic Hotels of America had also named it the best historic hotel in its class of 76-200 rooms.
The Historic Hotel Bethlehem is situated in 437 Main St. and is nine story tall. Considering this proud moment Bruce Haines the managing partner said “We couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate our 100th anniversary, We thank each and every person who voted throughout the four week contest period, Retaining our ‘National Championship’ is a testament to our entire community.”
USA Today stated in its release statement that it was a unanimous decision in leader board and it stood at 1st position throughout voting period.

It opened in May 1922 as a 200-room community hotel and was built on roughly the same spot as the First House that the Moravians built when they settled the land in 1741. it was also a landmark for the Golden Eagle hotel for about 100 years.
Famous Dignitaries that have visited Hotel include, presidents Bill Clinton, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Amelia Earhart, Thomas Edison, Gerald Ford, John F. Kennedy, Muhammad Ali and Ray Charles.
As of today, the 125-room hotel serves as a lodging and entertainment facility, with 19 suites, two ballrooms, two restaurants and a gift shop showcasing women’s clothing and accessories.

There have been many strange reports of hauntings instances happening in room 932. A couple staying there reported that they were awoken by a man standing in front of their bed asking, “Why are you in my room?” As soon as they turned on the light, he was gone.
There have been other accounts of seeing a reflection in the mirror that are gone a second later, lamps flashing, papers flying off the desk or standing upright, and even the bathroom wallpaper turning pink. The hotel has many pictures from guests where “orbs” appear in room 932.
In April of 2007, Hotel Bethlehem invited a paranormal investigator to stay overnight in the room. He recorded many voices: ‘It’s Mary.”, “What a beautiful bathroom.”, “I’ve locked myself in the closet”, “Look out the window.”
